Transit Roadmap

The Fresno County Rural Transit Agency (FCRTA) provides public transit services in rural areas within Fresno County. FCRTA received grant funding from Caltrans through the Sustainable Communities grant program to create a plan for its future routes, services, technology, payment systems, rider information, and other operations.
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS PROJECT?
| Identify gaps in transit service | Evaluate financial conditions and evaluate potential constraints (e.g. Measure C renewal) | ||
| Identify opportunities to bring new riders to the system | Transition to zero-emission vehicles | ||
| Increase awareness of FCRTA services | Technology to improve rider experience (e.g. online booking) | ||
| Establish a marketing and communication strategy | Gather feedback from the community and stakeholders |
GET INVOLVED!
The outcomes of this project will impact our entire community. Because of that, every resident of Fresno County is a key partner!
Please take our brief survey about your transit use and ideas for FCRTA, and the opportunity to sign up to participate in a transit riders’ focus group discussion.
